Surgical interventions for diaphyseal fractures of the radius and ulna in children

There is insufficient evidence from RCTs on the type of surgery most effective in treating fractures of the radius and ulna in children. Also, there is lack of evidence on when surgery is a prerequisite.
Diaphyseal fractures of the radius and ulna are common in children particularly, from falls. The treatment modalities include surgical and non-surgical. The main aim of the review was to assess the clinical effectiveness of surgical versus non-surgical interventions in addition to the different surgical interventions for the fixation of diaphyseal fractures of the radius and ulna in children.
